Leadership Spotlight | Zambian Trade & Mines Officials Visit Better’s Airumi New Energy

On the morning of October 2 local time, senior officials from Zambia’s trade and mining ministries visited Airmui New Energy, Zambia’s first local battery manufacturing plant and an overseas subsidiary of Better. Liu Fangbo, Director of the Integrated Management Center at Airumi New Energy, received the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on production and operations, market strategy, supply chain development, and local manufacturing growth.
Accompanied by Mr. Liu, the delegation toured Airumi . Mr. Liu briefed them on the company’s progress in localized battery manufacturing, product supply, market service, and industrial chain coordination. The delegation praised Airumi’s contributions to local manufacturing, job creation, and regional economic development.

As Zambia’s first specialized local battery manufacturer, Airumi remains committed to localization. Drawing on Better’s experience and technical strengths in battery manufacturing, it continues to integrate battery production with market service. Its proprietary battery brands, including SUNVOLT, are rigorously tested for strong power and stable performance and come with a 15-month warranty. Backed by reliable quality and service, Airumi has built more than 1,000 retail and partner stores and aims to become ‘Africa’s leading power energy service provider.’
The delegation also noted that on October 14, a large international trade delegation from multiple African countries is scheduled to visit Airumi New for a site tour and business exchange. This will give Airumi a new opportunity to showcase its local manufacturing achievements, strengthen regional market ties, and explore international cooperation.

Going forward, Better will continue to support Airumi in expanding across African markets. The company will maintain its localization strategy, strengthen battery manufacturing and service capabilities, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and continue contributing to job creation, industrial collaboration, and regional market development. We look forward to working with partners in Zambia and across Africa—rooted in local manufacturing, driven by quality and innovation, and connected through open cooperation—to advance the region’s battery industry and manufacturing upgrade and contribute more to Africa’s economic development.
